What this service is

This site gives our clients and prospective clients a private page for sharing access to their marketing and website accounts with us, so we can review their position and do the work they have engaged us to discuss or deliver. Each page is reachable only by an unguessable private link that we send to you directly. Pages are never indexed, listed, or shared.

Our core promise: 100% private, review first

• Everything you share here is 100% private. It is visible only to the selected Matter Solutions team members working with you. We never sell, rent, trade or share your information with anyone else.
• Access you grant is used to review and report. We will not make any edits to any website or account without your express written permission.
• Everything you grant is reversible: you can revoke any access at any time from the same place you granted it, and you can ask us to delete anything you have shared.

What we collect, and how it is protected

Contact details. Your name, business name, website and email address, used to prepare your page and to talk to you about the work.

Login details you choose to share. If you send us a login (for example a website, hosting or email platform login), it is encrypted the moment it reaches our server, using public-key encryption. The decryption key is held only on our server and is never in our code repositories or backups of the page data. A team member can only view a login by an explicit, individually logged action. We recommend granting access by invitation or approval flows wherever a platform supports them, so you never need to share a password at all.

Activity records. We record what was requested, granted and viewed, and when, so there is always an audit trail of who accessed what.

Google user data: what the "Sign in with Google" flow does

Our page offers an optional one-click flow to grant us access to your Google products. If you use it, this is exactly what happens, and all it does:

1. You sign in with Google and approve the permissions Google shows you. We never see or store your Google password.
2. We use your sign-in, during that session only, to list the Google Analytics accounts, Google Tag Manager accounts and Search Console verified sites your account manages, so you can choose what to share.
3. For the items you tick, we add our two named team addresses (ben@mattersolutions.com and analytics@mattersolutions.com) with read-level access: viewer access in Google Analytics (via the Google Analytics Admin API), read access in Google Tag Manager (via the Tag Manager API), and verified ownership in Search Console (via the Site Verification API).
4. Your sign-in token is held only in your browser session, is requested without offline access (so no refresh token ever exists), and is discarded as soon as the grants are applied. We keep no ongoing connection to your Google account.

We store only the outcome: which accounts, containers or sites you shared, and whether each grant succeeded. We do not read, copy or store your analytics data, tags or search data through this flow, and we do not use data obtained through this flow for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than setting up the access you asked us to have.

Matter Solutions' use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can review or revoke anything you have granted at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions (for this app's sign-in) and in each product's own user management settings (for the team access you granted us).

How we use AI tools

Like most modern agencies, we use AI tools (including large language models) to help analyse marketing data and prepare work for our clients. Three hard rules apply to this service:

• Login details you share through this page are never entered into or processed by any AI tool. They are decrypted only for a human team member, on a logged action.
• Your Google sign-in, and the tokens behind it, are never shared with any AI tool.
• Where we use AI tools to help analyse marketing data from accounts you have shared (for example analytics or search performance data), we use commercial services configured so that your data is not used to train their models, and the same confidentiality applies as to everything else we hold for you.

Where data lives, and for how long

Data from this service is stored on servers we control. We keep access records while we are working with you, or while a proposal is open. You can ask us to delete your access page and everything on it at any time; deleting a request destroys any encrypted logins stored with it. When an engagement ends, we remove access and delete stored logins on request.
